Loki - newest graphite work.
Loki is a delightful Golden Lab whom I had the pleasure to meet in person. A seemingly calm and quiet guy, he can play like a young puppy or spring to his loved ones' defense with the agility of a trained German Shepherd. Cratic was a good friend a while ago and even though he was sold a long time ago, he still remains my favouite "equine muse". Mark your calendar for this upcoming exhibition: Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the Woodbine Club During the members' reception after the races, 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm Just in time for Christmas shopping, Margaret Dent and a few other artists (Linda Shantz, Debbie Goldring, Maureen Shelleau and Dorothy Wintle) will hold an exhibition of equine art. The artists participating in this exhibition may be familiar to racing enthusiasts as they all supported Longrun's Black and White Gala in September through donations of their art to the silent auction. Longrun raised over $70,000.00 for retired racehorses awaiting adoption. New work:
